Constructing the Surface brought together a curated group of work produced over the last two years. The exhibition centered around a new large scale drawing made in response to the gallery architecture. The exhibition included sculpture, drawing, print and painting. The works allow materials to interact and worlds to be constructed. Through working with a variety of materials and processes, the exhibition explores formal sculptural questions around flatness, surface and scale.
