A work made during the Lake Vyrnwy International Wood Sculpture Symposium 2003 and sited in the Sculpture Park, 'Cupboard' utilises a Corsican pine tree trunk sliced in half vertically and carved to suggest an interior which recalls a previous age as well as the idea of nature as a store or container of bounty and sustenance.
