Custom's Stop

Customs Stop was inspired from my artist-in-residence programme in County Fermanagh. This artwork focuses on the historic and contemporary outlook of the Fermanagh/Cavan border (where conflicting issues had taken place during the troubles): inspired by the picturesque borderless island whilst considering what will happen to the free movement between the North and South and questioning, will a hard border be erected following Brexit and will this be the return of the customs stop which may bring back the troubling environment in this area?
