Dark Matter: Anthropocene La Brea Special Project

I am working on a special project with the collection and staff at La Brea Tar Pits, Los Angeles. The Dark Matter series continues to explore the physical properties of bitumen/tar to create time based sculptures without using modern technology. The paleoarchaeologists and curators at La Brea are specialists investigating the preservative properties of tar. The special project will open up new avenues for artistic development.
