Departure lounge

Departure lounge is the most recent of an ongoing body of works that go under the heading of singularities. These works consist of digitally manipulated photographs of the exhibition space with alternative views inserted in doorways, windows or other occurring openings. The works are an attempt to suggest to the viewer that there is more than one way to look at something and therefore more than one way of interpreting something. The work is designed to allow the viewer to feel comfortable with applying their own meanings to art rather than relying on other sources to inform their value judgement.
