'Drawing in space' was constructed for an outdoor international group exhibition in Schilderhof, nr. Antwerp, Belgium. The fabrication of the structure was funded by the Arts Council, Yorkshire. The sculpture was made in particular for an outside rural location,to be absorbed into the environment, but still retain an unobtrusive presence, in terms of defining the space. From notes: 'edges and outer limits can become indistinct and dissolve' 'unobtrusive, but still present in height, width and scale, by which we measure ourselves, in movements through and around' 'a line defining perimeter, shape and void in space, dividind the inside from the outside but the inside is still the outside'.
Price on application.
