Dream Boat

Part of 10 day residency - 2010... after my youngest son reached 16 years, and I felt I had the space to begin to perform again... felling exhilarated for this opportunity to make whatever work I wanted... but very vulnerable and raw regarding the intensity and love involved win the role of Mother I was beginning to let slightly looser form.......and begin responding to these new feelings and life as a performance and visual artist. This part of the residency was a response to the installation of suspended 'boat' of material filled with feathers, part of the 'Resonant Threads' - part of the residency at '25sg' live art venue - thinking about the role of Caring - for myself and others and the fragility and power of the body and those very visceral experiences.
