Dreamscape

Amanda's work is process-led , based on the experience and sensual nature of working with oils ,resins and the strong emotional value of colour which is channelled into a distinct visual language. An image is built up over time, fissures and flaws emerge which are scraped into and reapplied on the canvas . The deeply-textured painting has a final diluted oil layer which is squeegeed across , highlighting the imperfect surface.
