ECHO SOUNDINGS

Subject matter explores the concept of mapping inner and outer landscapes in general, of the call and response to aesthetic and emotive elements of choice and chance, and highlights my belief that outer resonances are but an echo sounding of the core, the inner essence, if only we had the sensitivity to experience them. Mixed media painting on paper incorporating gestural mark making with use of layered techniques, water colour paint, acrylic ink and chalk pastel.
