Enclosure with Ladders was a collaborative artwork created for Clayarch Museum, Gimhae, South Korea as a part of their Ceramics and Architecture exhibition in 2008/9. It was constructed from bricks retrieved from demolishion sites in China - the bricks themselves are hundreds of years old. The destruction of China's old cities continues at breakneck speed. Here the bricks have been painted by Korean participants and formed into a defensive enclosure.
