By  Patricia Chu 2014

Dimensions
51 x 60.5

In a moment of silence, of reflectiveness, confronted only by my own consciousness, acutely aware of its presence, and nowhere to escape, I am faced with the questions: What am I? Whose game am I playing?... Illusion has its own logic. It creates narrative; it provides causes and consequences; it gives reasons to get on with life… But in a moment of silence, of reflectiveness, confronted only by my own consciousness, acutely aware of its presence, and nowhere to escape, I am faced with the questions: What am I? Whose game am I playing?... It is a solitary task and a futile attempt to find the logic behind the illogical, to know the unknown and to reach the inaccessible.
