Escalators at Canary Wharf - Lunch Time

Large drawing of the architecture and escalators at Canary Wharf, Docklands, midday when the office workers move en-masse in search of lunch. Completed in the studio from numerous studies drawn from the third floor looking down, creating a vertiginous quality. The People on the escalators crowd together forming an almost indistinguishable group, where as those on the floor become ant-like beings.
