European Vacation is a journey through the depopulated 'non-places' of Europe, the corridors, motorways, hotel rooms and institutional spaces are an examination into a contemporary way of living in the post-industrial and global age and a psycho-geographical awareness of the urban environment.
The film has been created through the digitisation and manipulation of 35mm and 120 photographic stills. A close-up on the frame acts as a glitch or a residual afterimage that propels the viewer into the next frame.
