'Eustace & Makepeace - Their Final Encounter'
This work is composed of 6 paintings, (each 155 x 122 cm that combine together as one work of 465 x 244 cm), soaring together on cables to the ceiling. and was part of an exhibition which Milton Keynes Gallery, as part of Plus Tate, launched to celebrate their new gallery buildings funded by Arts Council England.
The series is underpinned by a mystery thriller, a graphic novel tracing the relationship of Eustace and Makepeace from their first
childhood meeting to their final encounter; it is a story of disappearance, mystery and murder, and is an adventure on becoming an artist, based on events in Nick Malone’s own life.
The first Artist’s Book incorporating the images has already been published with the support of an award from Arts Council England:
