Multidisciplinary collaborative artwork by Bettina Furnée and Lucy Sheerman to the format of Choral Evensong, with a libretto based on interviews with twelve Peterborough couples contemplating a yearlong space mission to the moon, set to music by Cheryl Frances-Hoad. The premiere of Even You Song was held at Peterborough Cathedral on 16 February 2017, in a production with digital projections and printed libretto, supported by Metal. The project included workshops, off-site plainchant performances and a CD published by First Hand Records (also on Soundcloud). Even You Song toured to four locations in East Anglia (King’s Lynn, Kingston, Cambridge, London) in 2019, the year of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing (and of Brexit), performed by different adult and children's choirs and with new writing. The Tour was supported by Wysing Arts Centre, Young Norfolk Arts and The National Centre for Writing.
