This artist book was commissioned by the National Trust and developed in response to wall paintings uncovered during restoration at Lindisfarne Castle. Structured as a wallpaper sample book, the work reflects on craftsmanship, care, and restraint, and draws inspiration from the mutual respect between Gertrude Jekyll and Edwin Lutyens. Through pattern, repetition, and material sensitivity, Feelings of Kindly Reverence considers the ethics of making, restoration, and collaboration across time, foregrounding quiet acts of attention rather than monumental gesture.
