Fire Work

By Jan Gaska 2014

jan Gaska

Part of the 'Fire' series of reduction woodcuts, part of a 'Fire' series of woodcuts which try to make something good out of something bad. It is my way of dealing with a studio fire I had around Christmas 2012 in which I lost artworks, sketchbooks & personal belongings. The woodcuts are using Japanese plywood which I manage to save from the fire.
