Flee #1: All I Can Carry

By  Alice Kin 2024

Made from found and foraged materials, a figure stands dressed with symbols of music, story, cuisine, ancestors, plants and animals - elements of what makes a place a home. Her head is a chaos of copper and barbed wire with a beech tear - the fractured state of leaving home. At her feet are grass houses with burnt roofs and bullets/bombs made of horse poo and cork.
