Floratilla

A wall installation of mixed media sculptures alluding to the history of the global movement of plants. This piece was part of the exhibition The Botanical Cabinet which took place at 195 Mare Street, Hackney, in September 2023. The exhibition responded to the history of a local plant business called the Loddiges Nursery which existed nearby in the late 1700s through the 1850s and which had a huge impact on the importation of plants to the UK.
