Subject matter: Abstracted mark making using intuitive reactions to explore the essential spirit of inner and outer landscapes, and investigating concepts of being on the edge, in terrain that through its very desolation throws up aesthetic and emotive challenges to find the right path forward. Mixed media painting on paper incorporating gestural mark making with use of layered techniques, water colour paint, acrylic ink and chalk pastel.
