For the Electrocuted

This indoor gallery piece, developed over a period of a year and draws together various formal and conceptual concerns explored in previous works. The strong vertical composition was partly inspired by electronic generator equipment and pylons. It has also been compared to a human spine. The spaces between the held upward column are recurring motifs but in this case can be compared to the synapses or spaces between nerve-cell connections through which electrical signals jump as they pass through the body.
