A companion piece to the handkerchiefs in Forget me Not was a postcard-size card index box of cyanotype prints. Visitors were invited to take a card to keep but also asked to write or draw a WW1-themed message and post an image on Cicatrix’s twitter account. Three accompanying View-Masters showed images made of Salisbury Plain, which contrast, with historical photographs documenting the presence of Canadian soldiers on the Plain. Postcards were a key form of communication to families at home during WW1.
