'Found Drawing'.Parys Mountain Copper Mine.

By  Jill Randall 2013

David Jenkins.

This drawing was one of a series created during Jill Randall's Artists Residency at the abandoned Parys Mountain Copper Mine in Anglesey, originally funded by an 'Artists At Work" Award from Cywaith Cymru /Artwork Wales.Physically and practically very difficult to site and retrieve, they have been carried down rickety ladders in pitch blackness, then left for long periods of time and retrieved. Jill Randall is interested in harnessing the toxic, post-industrial landscape to create artworks.
