A rugged coastline, an exanimate body in the sand: Few intense shots orchestrate a 'nature morte'. Blowflies in close-up view sparkle like gems. Their bustling movements across nostrils and teeth dominate the scene for quite a while until the flood approaches and a tenacious struggle with the heavy carcass begins. Wie Edelsteine schillern Fliegen in Nahaufnahme, deren geschäftige Bewegungen über Nüstern und Zähne hinweg lange das Bild dominieren, bevor die Flut kommt und ein zähes Ringen mit dem schweren Kadaver beginnt.
