Simultaneously self-aggrandising and cripplingly unsure of one's self, the artist's display is one thwart with mixed emotions and perceived double meanings. Presenting a bouquet of rosettes with phrases of ambiguous judgment, Garland (2025) attempts to cynically celebrate the cliches of every struggling artist in conversation with their audience.
