Glimpses of Shadowlands 1: September

This painting is based on the writings of René Dumal 'Mount Analogue' a psychological portrayal of a search for a mysterious peak that unites heaven and earth. After visiting New Mexico in 1992 I was influenced by the colour and light which led me on to develop this work.
