The Goonhilly Pony is an extinct species of native horse of the Goonhilly Downs, Cornwall and in common with other elements of Cornish culture it is no longer visable except as a contributing element in the breeding of the contemporary Dartmoor Pony. The image is formed through textiles media in line with an interest in physical crafts and techniques connected with manufacturing and work practices. The main work on panel is complemented by editions of multiples on paper with frottaged versions created via various papers, charcoal, graphite and Caran D'Ache neocolour.
