Gravity Studies I, II

Gravity Studies I, II examines the transformation of falling ink into abstract images. Rather than imposing a predetermined composition, the works allow gravity, movement and contact with the paper to shape the resulting marks. Each image preserves the trace of an action, connecting material experimentation with the wider investigation of control and its loss in Becoming Image.
