Greetings from the Mantlepiece

Deviating a little into the world of installation this work contains paintings ("Cowes - Isle of Wight" and "The Needles (reverse)") and other props to create a scene in which the inherant strangeness associated with the scale of my painted postcards is highlighted. The paintings and similarly scaled up pencil, paperclips and drawing pins sit together on the white backed, wood floored space to attempt to create the idea that they are resting on some giant's mantle or shelf.
