Grudge Me Not This Little Earth

By Dominique Rey 2010 - 2018

Dominique Rey

One of a series of collages using old Iranian stamps. The collages combine perhaps disparate imagery: botanical elements and semi-industrial architecture. The work can be read as a depiction of the tension between the constructed and the organic world, or the constant cycle of life, destruction and re-growth. The images are assembled using scissors and glue.
