H.O.M.E. Wakefield

By  Harriet Hill 2019
H.O.M.E is a potent word, it means something different to every person. It has particular resonance at the moment socially and politically with issues around Brexit, the international Refugee crisis, a massive rise in homelessness etc. Initially H.O.M.E was taken out around Southwark to raise awareness of Refugee Week (16th - 23rd June 2018). This summer I have been in Wakefield doing a 2 day walkabout as part of the Yorkshire Sculpture International Fringe: Index Festival. We had many conversations with the public while in letter costume and the whole event was filmed by George Baggaley. Out of this event, I have produced a short film edited by George with sound design by Isaac Baggaley. To view the film please go to: https://www.harriethill.co.uk/home-wakefield
