Hastings Pier (memory)

Work for the project ONCE UPON A TIME IN HASTINGS. Polyester resin casts from the steel supports of Hastings Pier which was built in the early 1870s. My original clay impressions were taken in 2014 during the Pier's extensive renovations. This included cutting, removing and replacing many of these weakened structures. This a memory of a support no longer there. The Pier will be completed in 2016.
