Hawfinch (viewpoint 1)

First of the series of 'viewpoints' installed at Hallam Fields, Leicester. Commissioned to work in close partnership with Jelson Ltd (the developers for the site) to build awareness of the possibilities for involving art and artists on developments, to make work for the site and to design and provide costings for a large landmark feature for the surrounding area. The works produced for the site include a series of small corten houses, designed and placed to mark particular sight-lines and focal points of the new architecture and landscape. This particular Hallam Fields project has been extremely successful and was awarded the Rolls Royce Arts, Business and Sustainability award in March 2008.
