Higher Education Teaching

By  Julie Arnall 2003 - 2008

Students on an Intaglio Printmaking Course

From 2004 to 2007, I worked at Wimbledon College of Art (now part of University of the Arts London). I was Convenor and Tutor for BA Fine Art/Theatre Life Drawing Minor Unit (30 hour study unit), as well as being a sessional Tutor for BA Graphic Media/Print and Digital Media, and Print and Photography minor units. As a Diversity and Progression Tutor, I provided gallery workshops, careers and HE presentations for local secondary students. I devised and taught a Portfolio Preparation course for pre-Foundation students. I also devised and delivered short courses to a range of students within the University from Foundation to MA level. I also created and delivered courses for adult learners accessing the College through Widening Participation, including Life Drawing, Printmaking, and Photoshop. I was also part of the delivery team for summer school courses at Chelsea College of Art. From 2003 to 2007, I taught a weekly life class at Kingston University.
