Made during a period of moving between London and Shanghai, this film reflects on the uneasy feeling of returning without fully coming home. Memory, dreams and the present begin to overlap, revealing a hometown that has been transformed, a strained relationship with family, and a sense of identity that no longer fits neatly into one place.
