Created as a unique site responsive installation for the 2024 MTG International Printmaking Triennial in Krakow. In the Balance considers the precarious environmental and humanitarian challenge facing the world.
The MTG International Print Triennial has been a significant event in the global landscape of art festivals since its inception in the 1960s offering a snapshot of international contemporary print, concepts, and ideas.
Individual woodblock prints of sonic resonance traces are printed on Japanese Kozo paper which are installed to flow along the wall. Held by the strength of their collective presence and dependant on the notion of collaboration and coexistence to maintain a balance and flow.
