New works with Shrimati Susanna dancing Bharata Natyam, a 2000 year old classical style from Southern India. The dance features natya or mime and mudras, symbolic hand gestures. Susannah substitutes Christian mudras in place of traditional forms. The landscapes are derived from 19th century photographs of India and Kashmir, combined with textiles.
