Minimalist fabric and paper collage from a series having broad allusions to the culture and traditions of the Indian Sub-continent.
When making these images, I was conscious of Hindu and Buddhist culture and the tradition
of Indian miniature painting; whilst resisting figurative, narrative or mythical references, I was nonetheless, striving to achieve a synthesis of form and colour that reflected and respected those cultures and traditions.
