Installation

This piece reflects the tensions involved in the mining of rock and metals it reflects the  transformations that are created using materials taken from the earth and a suggests  the processes needed in the creation of art materials. Thinking of the  change from rock to powder and  cloth to solid.  The balance of material and nature is sugggested by the weight of stone.
