June’s Last Stand (2022) 1 minute 36 seconds, colour, silent
This short film shows a piece of carpet rescued from the artists mothers house after she had died of a brain tumour and images from collected gardeners magazines. It is the exact spot where her mother had last stood looking out at the garden she could to longer walk in. The film is a poetic tribute to gardens, family, unseen connections and tangled networks.
