Kinnari

Part of my recent ink and gold leaf works, this piece explores the hybridity of having parents from different backgrounds and opposite sides of the world. It reflects on the sense of being between cultures, growing from both yet not fully rooted in either. I feel fortunate to have a heritage that spans diverse spaces and communities, though it can sometimes feel dislocated.
