Kulturmenu (Smokers Breakfast Jam)

Made as part of the Kulturmenu project, Stuttgart, Germany. Rolling tobacco, cigarette papers and preserving sugar - cooked and presented in an ashtray. An exercise in how to `hunt/gather' food in a city context, how food can be identified and defined, and how food can become an expression of the place it is found and prepared in. Based on the romantic ideal of finding food in nature.
