This oil on board painting was first exhibited in my solo show ‘Phil Whiting: New Paintings’ held at The Campden Gallery, Gloucestershire in 2005 and years later on a visit to my studio purchased by a distinguished mining geologist. He also purchased ‘The Place of the Disappeared, Bosnia’. “If you care enough to scratch the surface the Earth will reveal her secrets," he said.
