Leap of Faith

Shoes are arranged on the grass using simple perspex stands. The shoes appear to be tip toeing through the trees or just landing from a jump or taking off, the shoes also having a strange rigidity. Associations include enchantment, ballet, a dance, a simultaneous moment of entering or leaving, disappearing at the same moment. This work links to the towns history of shoe production now long passed.
