LEAVING: WOMAN GLIMPSED THROUGH A TRAIN WINDOW AT WATERLOO STATION

By Phil Whiting 1988

A 6B pencil drawing I made in my sketch book soon after glimpsing the woman's reflection in the carriage window as it passed me on the platform. The drawing was later exhibited next to the ‘Kindertransport’ drypoint etching in my solo show ‘Philip Whiting: Works on Paper’ held at the Lauderdale House Gallery, Highgate, London in 1988.
