Light Dance

By  Sam Lee 2022
I was commissioned to Photograph both young and older dancers based on the light drawings made of Picasso in 1949 and created by photographer LIFE magazine’s Gjon Mili. He used 2 camera positions to achieve the results. These images are based on this idea but only using one digital camera. They were shot in monochrome. This was part of a wider project celebrating the life and work of Picasso.
