Light Lines

By  Peter Grego 2014

Véronique Lamare

Light Lines was a site-specific installation at Cairnhill garden in the Charente area of France. It was presented as part of a regional art and gardens event in May/June 2014. Cairnhill garden was the site for a series of works by artists from Birmingham and Bordeaux which forms part of the on-going project Dialogue. The installation uses everyday materials to transform a location in much the same way as sunlight articulates a space through light and shade. The title, Light Lines, refers to both the visual metaphor and the literal weight and tone of the piece.
