This is the middle panel to a triptych 'Lost Voices' I've been developing a way of working using gesso on canvas, Drawing and painting with Indian ink-, when the ink is dry carving into the ink with a fine knife. then working flake white (pigment) applied with a glaze into the white gesso ground.
