there are times when we try to erase certain memories but they are so persistent no matter how hard we try traces remain. there are times when we reinforce false memories that they become true events in our mind. there are times when certain memories hurt like jabs into our hearts. there are also times when some memories just fade in and out of our semi-consciousness.
