Model Landscapes

Jane Prophets exhibition Model Landscapes at London Gallery West brought together a series of photographs and installations of other worlds; fantasy landscapes and manufactured trees with fragile support systems. An expanded version of the shelf works was shown at The Harris Museum. Engaging with our desire for the perfect landscape and our willingness to mold or model these via large and small scale interventions, Prophet created a series of Model Landscapes of fictional states which co-exist alongside recognisable landscapes.
